Solar Eclipse 2024:
EJSD campuses will have a delayed dismissal on Monday, April 8, 2024. HHS/HJHS - 3:15 p.m. TNWJBES - 3:30 p.m.
As a reminder, DO NOT look directly at the sun during this event nor any other time. A person could permanently damage his/her eyes or even go blind if viewing the sun directly even for just a few seconds! Sun glasses DO NOT work! Special solar eclipse glasses (ISO 12312-2 international standard/protection level) are required.

The Lady Oilers competed in the 2A Basketball Semi-Finals today in Jackson. We didn’t finish with a game win, but our players HELD THEIR OWN against a team many perceived to be invincible.
So, we are FOREVER PROUD of our ladies’ determination and perseverance, and we look forward to heading to the Big House again in 2025!

On February 26th at 2:00 p.m., the Jackson State University Presidential Bus Tour will make a stop at Heidelberg High School. The tour will feature the University President, Sonic Boom of the South, JSU Choir, and more.
The Alcorn State University Sounds of DYN-O-MITE Auditions will be held in the Heidelberg High School Band Hall from 12 pm-2 pm on February 23, 2024.
